The Motion Arc backpack was developed for the widest possible range of activities. A mix of functional elements and innovative materials creates a unique concept that focuses on mobility. Highlights of the Heimplanet Motion Arc 20L
- Laptop Sleeve - There is a lined 16-inch laptop compartment inside the backpack. The laptop compartment ends a few centimetres above the bottom of the backpack so that the laptop does not hit the ground even if the backpack is shaken. There is a movable zippered pocket above this. This can be placed in front of or behind the closure of the laptop compartment as required. The pocket is ideal if you don’t want to stow valuable items such as your wallet or keys in the outer pockets but still need them to hand at all times.
- Hydration Bladder - The laptop compartment can be used equally well to accommodate a hydration bladder with up to 2L volume, such as the HydraPak – FORCE 2L. Left and right of the handle at the top of the backpack are Velcro openings, allowing the bladder tube to be guided over either the right or left shoulder.
- Elastic Front Pocket - The large front compartment made of stretchable and breathable fabric is a special feature of the MOTION series and offers a new dimension of organisation. Even when the backpack is fully loaded, additional equipment can be stored in the stretchable compartment. The breathable fabric makes the front pocket ideal for drying a wet rain jacket, for example, while the interior of the backpack remains untouched by moisture.
- Back Padding - The padding of the back and shoulder straps is based on their signature pattern. It consists of a 3D moulded EVA foam. The 3D pattern reduces the contact area between the body and the backpack while remaining comfortable.
- Dope Dyed Fabrics - The Motion Series uses their proprietary Diamond Rip-Stop Melange and DYECOSHELL fabric. These nylon fabrics are not only extra durable but also Dope-Dyed. Dope-dyed fabrics use only a fraction of the water, CO2, energy, and chemicals used by conventional fabrics. This replaces the most environmentally damaging process in textile production – dyeing. - Waist Belt Pocket - Motion Series backpacks come with a set of chest and waist straps. Both are removable if needed. For those who want even more organisation to their Motion backpack, the included waist belt can be replaced with their Motion waist belt pockets. These are sold separately and provide a snug fit around the waist as well as extra space for small items that need to be within reach at all times.
